Evolving best-selling machines: QUICK TURN series

Spindle specifications to meet your machining requirements

Built-in motor spindle, which is equipped on all models of series can perform heavy duty machining of difficult machining materials or ferrous metals, as well as high speed machining of non-ferrous materials such as aluminum. You can select the optimal spindle, including high speed and high torque specifications to meet your machining requirements.

Continuous machining of the first and second processes with a second spindle

The second spindle can perform high-speed and high-quality turning and milling with its built-in motor spindle. C-axis indexing in 0.0001° minimum increments is standard. Contouring is optionally available.

Y-axis machining for a wide range of applications

The long Y-axis stroke ensures high-accuracy and high-efficiency machining of complex workpieces. Multi-tasking machining of large workpieces is available in a compact machine.

NC tailstock and steady rest

The ball screw and servo motor drive allow for high-accuracy control of the tailstock position, and the thrust can be set in 0.1 kN increments. Dead-center type is suitable for light-duty applications, while built-in-center type offers stability during heavy-duty cutting and high-speed turning. A steady rest can be mounted for shaft workpieces. It can be moved automatically by connecting it to the turret base.

High-productivity and high-accuracy

Machine construction and control technology provide even more stable machining accuracy

Structural analysis conducted during the design phase minimizes distortion (displacement) during heavy-duty cutting and high-speed operation, ensuring high-accuracy over the long term.

1: Built-in motor spindle

It is designed to have less causes of vibration as it has no gears or belts, so better roundness and surface accuracy can be acquired and power loss can be prevented. This simple structure leads to high reliability, as it does not require maintenance such as tension adjustment, which is needed for belt-driven models.

2: Linear roller guides utilized on all axes

Achieving high-speed, high-rigidity, and a long service life, along with comprehensive measures to withstand repeated high-speed positioning, it enables highly reliable machining and maintenance-free operation over the long term.

3: C-axis positioning minimum indexing increment: 0.0001°

Main spindle and second spindle minimum C-axis positioning indexing increment is 0.0001° - standard equipment. Contouring is optionally available. (Standard for the main spindle of the “M” series).

4: High-accuracy scale feedback (Option)

Scale feedback for the X- and Z-axis is optionally available. This is ideal for high-precision circular interpolation cutting and continuous machining accuracy.
* Not available for the100 series

Available turrets

Three types of turrets are available for different applications

The standard is a bolt-on turret, with a VDI turret available as an option. The drum turret is designed for the minimum interface. By using non-lift rotary indexing, high speed turret clamping / unclamping can be performed without interference. Additionally, thanks to random selection / shortest path indexing, chip-to-chip time when changing tools is extremely fast.

Depending on the model, 12 position drum turret, 16 position drum turret and 12 position drum turret (24 position) can be selected. Drum turret with minimum interface and non-lift rotary indexing perform high-speed clamping/unclamping. Tool holder can be selected between bolt-on or VDI.

Smooth Mill Drive – Turret milling integral spindle / motor

An integral spindle / motor is utilized for the turret milling spindle to minimize vibration for high accuracy. This enables stable cutting and high-accurate milling. Temperature controlled cooling oil is circulated around the spindle bearings and housing to minimize any thermal change.

A variety of optional automation equipment can be chosen to increase productivity

Ez LOADER

Ez LOADER is a space-saving automation system with collaborative robots. With the specialized software, Ez LOADER eliminates tedious robot teaching tasks and can be easily set up by anyone.

High-speed and high-accuracy simultaneous 4-axis CNC system

MAZATROL SmoothG

The touch panel is intuitive, and the 3D model display allows you to create programs while checking the machining shape and process. It prevents program errors and shortens program creation time. G code programming is also available.

SOLID MAZATROLAutomatic / conversational programming

MAZATROL programs are automatically generated from 3D models created with commercially available CAD/CAM software. Optimal programs are generated by learning the appropriate machining pattern for the machining shape from programs created in the past.
