Mazak Ez Machines Showcase Affordable Performance at Expo Manufactura 2026
FLORENCE, Ky., January 15, 2026 – Mazak Corporation will spotlight two machines from its Ez Series at Expo Manufactura in Cintermex, Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, February 3-5 at booth #2702. The company will feature its VC-Ez 16X full-simultaneous 5-axis Vertical Machining Center and its QT-Ez 10 Turning Center outfitted with Mazak’s Ez LOADER automation in live cutting demonstrations at the event. Both machines are designed and built at Mazak’s Kentucky production facility and provide job shops with high levels of throughput, precision and performance.
With Mazak’s MAZATROL SmoothEz5 CNC, the VC-Ez 16X efficiently processes small complex parts with 3+2 or full 5-axis machining. The machine's rugged spindle, space-saving design and full range of tool options meet many production needs for shops of all sizes and stages.
The machine provides axis travels of 27.75" in X and 16.14" in both Y and Z (705 mm x 410 mm x 410 mm) and a rapid traverse rate of 1,654 ipm (42 mm/min) on all three axes. It accommodates workpieces up to 18.11" in diameter (460 mm) and 19.09" (485 mm) tall, and parts weighing up to 507 lbs. (230 kg). A powerful 40-taper 12,000-rpm 25-hp (18.5 kW) spindle and 30-tool magazine come as standard equipment.
The automation-ready QT-Ez 10 is equipped with Mazak’s MAZATROL SmoothEz control and seamlessly integrates with the Mazak Ez LOADER. The system includes a stand-alone, plug-and-play cobot that uses a pallet, a programmable logic controller and all necessary equipment for hassle-free machine integration.
The QT-Ez 10 features a 10" chuck and a 12-tool position turret as well as an 8" chuck option. A 3" diameter maximum bar capacity, along with a 16" maximum part machining diameter, ensures further part processing flexibility.
