Mazak Offers Shops Speed, Reliability and Affordability at SOUTHTEC 2025

FLORENCE, Ky., July 14, 2025 – Shops looking to boost production with affordable, reliable technology will find practical solutions at the Mazak booth #1309 at SOUTHTEC 2025, October 21–23 at the Greenville Convention Center in Greenville, South Carolina. Live cutting demonstrations will highlight the QTE-100 MY CNC Turning Center with Multi-Tasking capabilities and the VC-Ez 20 Vertical Machining Center, both of which are designed to increase throughput without compromising precision. Mazak will also be supported by Crotts & Saunders, affiliated with The HEH Group, at the event.

For high-speed and high-precision turning in a space-saving design, attendees can experience Mazak’s QTE-100 MY with a 6" chuck that processes parts up to 11.42" in diameter. Versatile and reliable, the QTE-100 MY has a built-in motor spindle designed to provide high torque even in the low-speed range for higher cutting capacity.

Shops can select a 12-position drum turret along with a wide range of turning, milling, Y-axis and second spindle specifications to suit specific production requirements. Equipped with the Mazak MAZATROL SmoothEz CNC, the QTE-100 MY offers both EIA/ISO G-Code and conversational programming, giving manufacturers infinite part production possibilities.

Mazak’s Kentucky-built VC-Ez 20 provides shops affordable access to Mazak reliability and is highly versatile with a full range of options to meet a variety of production needs. The machine is configured with a 25 HP, 12,000-rpm spindle and a standard 30-tool (50-tool optional) automatic tool changer. During SOUTHTEC, Mazak will feature the VC-Ez 20 equipped with an optional MAZATROL SmoothG high-speed, high-accuracy control.
