Mazak SYNCREX 25/7 Showed Precision Part Performance Reimagined at IMTS 2026

FLORENCE, Ky., September 14, 2026 – Mazak demonstrated its SYNCREX 25/7 Swiss-type machine for processing small, precise parts with exceptional turning and milling accuracy at IMTS 2026. The SYNCREX Series, touted as “performance reimagined,” encompasses bar stock capacities ranging from 0.393" (10mm) to 1.5" (38mm) for both low- and high-volume production.

With a maximum bar diameter of 1" (25mm), the SYNCREX 25/7 powers through the production of parts with a 10,000-rpm main spindle paired with a 10,000-rpm counter spindle. The machine’s 7-axis configuration provides four cross-working live tools on the main spindle, as well as up to four endworking positions at the guide bushing and 8 tool positions for backworking.

Like other SYNCREX models, the 25 Series uses a removable guide bushing adapter, which enables operators to preset the guide bushing outside the machine. After installation, any additional guide bushing adjustments can be easily accessed from within the working area of the machine, eliminating the need for special adjustment tools.

All SYNCREX Series machines, including the SYNCREX 25/7, are sliding headstock machines constructed on Mazak’s High Damping Composite Casting (HDCC) base technology. This unique high-rigidity base provides greater vibration-damping characteristics, less thermal growth and greater part surface capabilities when compared to a cast iron base machine.

Mazak SYNCREX machines come equipped with the company’s MAZATROL SmoothSt CNC. Mazak also offers the optional MT Tablet for the SYNCREX Series with either ESPRIT, Mastercam or Autodesk-PartMaker CAD/CAM software bundles to further maximize productivity.
