High power milling spindle that rival those of small machining centers

SLANT TURN 500M, 550M, and 600M are capable of highly efficient milling / turning. A high-torque version is also optionally available.

Automatic steady rest with significantly reduced travel time (Optional)

A self-run type steady rest is available as an option. The tailstock can approach much closer to the steady rest for an expanded machining area.

* SLANT TURN 500, 550, and 600 series are only compatible with 2000U / 3000U / 4000U.

The maximum available steady rest size is Φ16.14" - largest for this turning center class. Positioning time is considerably reduced with operation by CNC. The tailstock can approach much closer to the steady rest for an expanded machining area.

Highly rigidity tailstock

The tailstock quill can extend 250 mm making it possible to support both long and short shaft workpieces.

This eliminates the need to remove the steady rest when changing the workpiece from long to short shaft.

SLANT TURN 800

With a high hydraulic pressure thrust of up to 35 kN, it provides strong support for the workpiece.
