High-power milling spindle that rival those of small machining centers
SLANT TURN 500M, 550M, and 600M are capable of highly efficient milling/turning. A high-torque version is also optionally available.
Automatic steady rest with significantly reduced travel time
The maximum available steady rest size is Φ16.14" - largest for this turning center class. Positioning time is considerably reduced with operation by CNC. The tailstock can approach much closer to the steady rest for an expanded machining area.
Tailstock to handle both long and short shaft workpieces
The tailstock quill can extend 9.84" making it possible to support both long and short shaft workpieces.
This eliminates the need to remove the steady rest when changing the workpiece from long to short shaft.
