Achieves high-speed and high-quality processing

Mazak SmoothCUT and GRAND CUT increase the temperature of the molten iron while cutting, improving the quality of the cut surface. In addition, for mild steel with thickness of 25 mm, cut edge perpendicularity is improved by more than 80% compared to conventional machines. High-quality continuous machining of thick mild steel materials can be performed stably.

By adopting a newly developed nozzle and Mazak's unique processing technology, it is possible to perform stable processing at a high-speed and at high-quality on a variety of materials, such as mild steel and electric furnace materials up to a thickness of 50mm, while minimising the occurrence of processing defects.

Wide opening doors

Sliding doors are installed on the front and side face of the machine, minimising the floor space required. The OPTIPLEX 3015 HP has a large opening space of 1200mm at the front face and 3210mm at the side face, while the OPTIPLEX 4220 HP has an opening space of 1190mm at the front face and 3130mm at the side face. It ensures easier loading and unloading.

Automatic Nozzle Diagnosis / Automatic Beam Centering (option)

Automatic nozzle diagnosis automatically detects the condition of the nozzle and the deviation of the nozzle centre position from images captured by the nozzle diagnosis camera. If any damage to the nozzle is detected, it is automatically replaced with another nozzle. If the nozzle centre position is misaligned, it is automatically adjusted using the automatic beam centring. Automatic diagnosis and adjustment improve productivity and processing accuracy during automatic operations.

The nesting feature automatically determines how to arrange parts for optimal cutting on remnant material.

Wide and flat screen for easier operation

CNC system MAZATROL SmoothLx

The 21.5″ wide screen allows you to see all the nested materials at a glance. Apart from the emergency stop and rotary switch buttons, operational buttons feature a flat design. Pictograms make the operation more intuitive and user-friendly.

Operator can easily zoom in and out on the display screen with their fingertips. The wide screen also allows the operator to check nesting at a glance.

Machine monitor

The machine monitor supports operators by providing easy access to the torch and machine information. Machine processing status information is displayed with the machine image, allowing operators to grasp the machine processing status and detailed data at a glance.

One-touch operation
